昌平桃峪口水庫風景區簡介：
桃峪口水庫位于昌平東部與順義交界的上苑鄉，距北京市区40公里。与北京著名的密雲水庫、官厅水库、怀柔水库相比，它实在不算大，但它却以丰富的水产而逐渐在京城闻名。这真是“水不在多，有鱼则名”。桃峪口水库1960年7月竣工，1963年8月拦洪。共计完成土石方32．4万立方米。水库总面积105万平方米，养殖面积60万平方米。总库容1008万立方米，控制流域面积40平方公里。建有1座主坝，东、南、西3座副坝及溢洪道和输水管。主坝高21米，坝顶长320米。水面网箱养鱼，年产鱼10万公斤。
